During a working visit to the Kingdom of Thailand, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Malaysia Muhammetnyyaz Mashalov met with Ms. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

The parties discussed the development of political and diplomatic relations, the organization of high-level visits, the holding of political consultations, and the expansion of cooperation in trade and economic, transport and logistics, investment, cultural and humanitarian, educational, and tourism spheres.

The sides confirmed their readiness for further interaction within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations.
