On September 23 of this year, the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan will take place at the Maslahat Palace in the capital. During the Presidium meeting chaired by the National Leader, Resolutions were adopted to organize the meeting of the highest representative body of popular power and the glorious 35th anniversary of sacred Independence at a high level. An organizing committee was created, and activities are progressing rapidly. This was reported by the «Türkmenistan» newspaper.

Preparations for the Halk Maslahaty meeting are being carried out in a coordinated manner by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries, departmental management bodies, regional and city administrations, and public associations. Organized work continues to promote parliamentary diplomacy and state policy, review proposals submitted by citizens, and bestow state awards on compatriots who have achieved significant labor milestones during the years of Independence.

The Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan is a supreme body grounded in traditions of popular governance, aimed at resolving key issues of state and social life and involving broad segments of the population in major transformations. At this historic assembly held annually on the eve of Independence Day, delegates from across the nation will gather to summarize achieved successes and adopt important decisions regarding Turkmenistan's future development trajectory.
