In Ashgabat, the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan organized a professional development course for state inspectors from state natural reserves and regional departments. During the event, warm congratulations were extended to system employees on the occasion of World Environmental Inspector Day. Additionally, international wild cat expert Tanya Rosen highly commended the major contributions made by Turkmen conservationists to preserving global biodiversity, according to the "Turkmenistan" newspaper.

During the training course, the results of field operations conducted by inspectors from various reserves and regional departments across the country were presented through photos and video footage. At the meeting, specialists from state natural reserves such as "Bereketli Karakum," "Kaplankyr," "Badkhyz," and "Kopetdag" shared their experience in securing endemic desert flora, remotely monitoring bird populations, and organizing protective measures.

State inspectors fulfill their duties flawlessly based on the Laws of Turkmenistan "On Environmental Protection" and "On Specially Protected Natural Areas." Year-round, they protect wild animals and plants, reliably safeguarding the gene pool of rare species listed in the Red Data Book. At the conclusion of the course, inspectors who demonstrated effective service in protecting the country's nature were awarded incentive gifts.
