On August 13, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, during which he familiarized himself with the design projects for new buildings under the second phase of construction and their design solutions, and also held a working meeting with the participation of relevant heads of departments.

The Hero-Arkadag arrived in the new city. Having inspected the urban space, the National Leader of the Turkmen People stressed the importance of maintaining unwavering control over the quality of the work being carried out.

The Honored Architect of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, then reviewed the presented projects for new buildings and the特features of their design solutions. It should be noted that all activities under the second phase are being carried out in line with the requirements of the times.

The relevant information was presented by the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan Deryageldi Orazov and the mayor of the city Gulshat Mammedova. They reported on the social facilities planned for construction and modernization, as well as on the progress of large-scale construction work in the city. In particular, projects were presented for a specialized secondary school with in-depth study of foreign languages, a kindergarten, and a sports complex. It should be noted that the school is being built with funds from the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In addition, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was shown site plans for these new buildings. As reported, the systematic construction of social and industrial infrastructure facilities also envisages the construction of accompanying structures. Accordingly, special attention is being paid to the implementation of projects for educational institutions and sports complexes.

Having studied the projects and layouts of the new buildings in detail, the Honored Architect of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag made a number of comments and introduced corresponding adjustments. The equipment and architectural solutions of the new buildings constructed under the second phase must fully meet modern requirements and international standards. At the same time, each facility must stand out for the originality of its design.

Regarding the school project, the National Leader of the Turkmen People pointed to the importance of properly equipping the buildings of the educational complex. In particular, special attention should be paid to furnishing language laboratories and classrooms in accordance with established standards. In this matter, it is necessary to draw on advanced world practice and modern scientific achievements: such an approach will ensure a high quality of the educational process. Speaking on this, the Hero-Arkadag gave a number of recommendations.

Special emphasis was placed on determining the procedure for admission to studies according to children's abilities and age characteristics, as well as on drawing up the curriculum in line with the requirements of the times. In addition, the importance of organizing subject clubs to enhance young people's knowledge was underscored. Such activities will allow children not only to advance in the study of foreign languages, but also to master skills related to their chosen profession.

At the same time, it is necessary to achieve an aesthetically pleasing decorative design along the perimeter of the school building, including its color scheme, and to ensure the landscaping and improvement of the area adjacent to the educational complex. These tasks were identified as among the primary ones, noted the National Leader of the Turkmen People.

In this connection, it was reported that the fencing of the school building is being modernized in accordance with an earlier instruction.

The kindergarten for 320 places attached to the school will create a unified educational and methodological complex, in which children will receive quality education and upbringing, as well as preparation for professional growth. The conditions and opportunities provided will make it possible to raise well-rounded and educated young people. Speaking on this, the Hero-Arkadag emphasized the need for properly furnished rooms for parents.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, then held a working meeting with the participation of the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Deryageldi Orazov, and the head of the city administration, Gulshat Mammedova.

Deryageldi Orazov first of all reported that the football club «Arkadag» had earned the right to participate in the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2. This latest achievement by FC «Arkadag» became possible thanks to the active support and attention given by the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar to the development of national sport.

As Hero-Arkadag noted, all conditions are being created in Turkmenistan for popularizing sports disciplines, including football, and for bringing Turkmen sport onto the international stage. Expressing confidence that FC «Arkadag» would continue to achieve great victories and proudly raise our green Flag, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan recommended that Deryageldi Orazov visit the team's athletes and wish them success.

Deryageldi Orazov then presented detailed information on the progress of work under the second phase of the new city and the measures being taken to accelerate the pace of construction.

Pointing to the importance of ensuring high quality and timely commissioning of the new buildings, the Hero-Arkadag stressed the need for coordinated work among the agencies involved.

For her part, the city's mayor Gulshat Mammedova expressed gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag for his unwavering attention to the progress of work on the ground and his valuable recommendations during his visits. The head of the city administration reported on the progress in preparing the program of economic and administrative activity for the specialized school with in-depth study of foreign languages, as well as on the measures being taken to approve the regulations that will ensure the proper functioning of the educational institution.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People stressed the significance of the new school in the study of foreign languages and in introducing students to the world of science — it is meant to play an important role in addressing the tasks in this field. He also noted that a responsible approach should be taken to matters of financial management of the educational institution and to the approval of the admissions procedure, the curriculum, and the list of subjects.

Special attention must be paid to measures that will help instill in students a love of labor and strengthen their sense of patriotism. At the same time, information on discipline, academic performance, and how well students have mastered the material should be made available to parents through a digital system, the Hero-Arkadag noted. These measures are of priority importance given the city's status as a «smart city».

A representative of the clergy, Ya.Hojagulyyev, was also invited to the working meeting, and he shared good news: based on proposals from the public, it had been decided to name the mosque for 30,000 worshippers being built in the new city «Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi» («The Spiritual Mosque of Arkadag»), which has been registered by the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan and formalized in accordance with the established procedure.

Expressing gratitude for the good news, Hajy Arkadag thanked the people of Turkmenistan for the high trust shown, and expressed the wish that the noble deeds and prayers performed in the illuminated mosque [would be accepted].

Noting that the level and scale of the madrasa being built near the mosque is comparable to that of an institution of higher education, Ya. Hojagulyyev put forward a corresponding proposal. This, he said, would be of great importance in ensuring that the knowledge gained there conforms to the norms established in the Islamic world, as well as in passing noble principles on to the younger generation.

Approving the proposal, the National Leader of the Turkmen People noted that similar institutions of higher learning operate in many countries. In this regard, recommendations were given on strengthening the material and technical base of the educational institution being built in the new city, and on applying relevant world practice to ensure the proper mastery of the disciplines studied.

Hajy Arkadag stressed the expediency of holding consultations and coordinating efforts with members of the Office of the country's Mufti in order to improve the work being carried out, including in line with international standards. At the same time, a comprehensive approach is required to determining the fields of the disciplines taught and to developing the corresponding programs.

During the working meeting, the mayor of the city of Arkadag proposed holding a festive sadaqa at the «Märkaw» cultural and entertainment center on the occasion of the presentation of the registration certificate for the new mosque «Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi».

Approving the proposal, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noted the deep meaning of holding the festive sadaqa on a Friday: the good wishes expressed during the sadaqa, together with the traditions of Friday prayer, would demonstrate the scale of the efforts being made in our country to carry out noble deeds.

After the working meeting concluded, the Hero-Arkadag proceeded to the «Ruhyýet» Palace in the new city.

In recent years, the city of Arkadag has strengthened its status as a center of international activity. This fact clearly demonstrates that the magnificent facilities designed for representative forums, conferences, meetings and large-scale exhibitions fully meet established standards.

The facilities built here, in particular the «Ruhyýet» Palace, have all the conditions needed for holding high-level conferences and meetings, including through the use of innovative methods and digital technologies. All of this makes it possible to ensure an optimal level of organization for international events held there.
