On August 13, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar Myratgeldi Seytmammedov met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Qatar Hong Ji-pyo. The two sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the Turkmen Ambassador noted that this year has been declared in Turkmenistan as «Independent Neutral Turkmenistan − the Homeland of purposeful winged horses» and he also spoke about international events marking the 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence.

In addition, the parties discussed ways to strengthen cultural cooperation and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
