On August 14, in the city of Arkadag — located in the most modern city of the current era, built through the efforts of Hero-Arkadag — a festive sadaka was held on the occasion of the presentation of the registration certificate for the new mosque "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi."
The participants of the sadaka, held at the "Märkaw" cultural and entertainment center in the city of Arkadag, received with special joy the good news that the new mosque had been officially named "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi."
As is known, the day before, on August 13, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, made a working trip to the city of Arkadag in order to familiarize himself with the projects of new buildings within the framework of the implementation of the second phase and their design solutions. At that time, a working meeting was also held with the participation of relevant leaders, at which Hero-Arkadag was informed of the good news: based on the proposals of the population, it was decided to give the mosque being built in the new city, with a capacity of 30,000 places, the name "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi," which has been registered by the Ministry of Adalat and formalized in accordance with established procedure.
Having recited the "tebärek" prayer, the mufti of the country offered prayers for the prosperity of the Fatherland, the unity and well-being of the people, with wishes of good health, long life, and success in large-scale state activities to Haji Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Haji Serdar, as well as congratulations on the occasion of the presentation of the registration certificate for the new mosque "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi," which will further strengthen the cohesion and spiritual unity of our society.
According to tradition, national cuisine dishes were offered to those gathered.
Upon completion of the meal, the "ayat-tovir" was recited and prayers were offered for well-being in the country, unity of the native people, with wishes of strong health, long life, and success in activities in the interests of the state to Haji Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Haji Serdar. May the new mosque "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi" become a center of humanistic principles!
Then the elders who took part in the sadaka visited the Geoktepe mosque, where they recited the Friday namaz: the good wishes voiced during the sadaka and the traditions of Friday prayer reflected the scale of the efforts being made in the country in the implementation of noble deeds.
In addition, the Friday namaz recited jointly at the Geoktepe mosque became evidence of the great importance attached in our society to the observance of ancient national customs and religious canons.
During the namaz, prayers were offered that the best wishes would be accepted by the Almighty. This is yet another confirmation that the ancestral traditions and noble principles of the Turkmen people, who treat sacred Muslim values with special reverence, are developing in accordance with modern realities.
The joint performance of the sacred precept by compatriots is a vivid manifestation of the unshakeable principle of unity in Turkmen society, as well as the success of the initiatives of Haji Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Haji Serdar, defined by national values.
During today's Friday prayer, verses from the holy Quran were recited, and prayers were offered for the cohesion, peaceful and happy life of the native people, with wishes of good health, longevity, and success in large-scale state activities to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
Thus, the festive sadaka held on the occasion of the presentation of the registration certificate for the new mosque "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi" in the new city, the wishes voiced during it and the prayers offered, as well as the verses from the holy Scripture recited during the Friday prayer, fully reflected the continuity of spiritual traditions, as well as the successful implementation in the country of grand goals and plans based on the principles of humanism, thanks to the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Haji Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Haji Serdar, in the interests of the state and society.
