Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan completes diplomatic mission

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Turkmenistan, Ahmet Demirok, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country. During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side for the comprehensive support provided during his diplomatic tenure and reaffirmed the commitment of the two brotherly nations to strategic partnership. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the diplomats reviewed the current state and prospects of cooperation in political, diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian fields. The sides noted that high-level and top-level visits serve as a key factor in strengthening interstate relations and expressed confidence in their readiness to continue positive interaction within the UN and other reputable international and regional organizations.

Special attention was paid to the development of trade and economic relations. The diplomats highlighted with satisfaction the growth dynamics of trade turnover and confirmed mutual interest in further increasing trade volume. The importance of further strengthening ties in the cultural and humanitarian sphere was also emphasized.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the head of the foreign ministry of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for his personal contribution to raising Turkmen-Turkish brotherly relations to a new level and wished him great success in his future professional endeavors and new assignment.
