On August 17, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with Yu. Kanehan, the newly appointed President of the Japan Business Association "ROTOBO." The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the further development of bilateral cooperation.

In particular, special attention was paid to preparations for the 16th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation, scheduled to take place in Tokyo on December 14–16, 2026.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on projects in the field of the circular economy, one of the new areas of bilateral economic cooperation.
