Turkmenistan approaches the glorious 35th anniversary of its sacred Independence and the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, scheduled for September 23, with large-scale labor victories and major achievements. This nationwide forum, which will gather representatives of the people from all corners of the country, will be a historic event designed not only to review the path traveled but also to define key tasks for the long-term future. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty was held, approving the composition of a special organizing committee to hold the forum at the highest level. Currently, public organizations and mass media are conducting extensive public awareness and outreach work among the population. Systematic work is also underway to preliminarily discuss and record suggestions and inquiries received from citizens.

The country's economy demonstrates steady growth — in the first six months of this year, the gross domestic product growth rate reached 6.3 percent. In line with the Socio-Economic Program, numerous residential buildings, state-of-the-art medical facilities, and educational institutions are being constructed and commissioned in the capital and regions. Notably, the opening of the final section of the Ashgabat – Turkmenabat high-speed highway and the founding of new townships serve as clear evidence of our state's strength.

Neutral Turkmenistan continues to strengthen its positions on the international stage. Currently, our country effectively collaborates with 161 nations and 55 international organizations. More than 30 Resolutions adopted by the UN General Assembly at the initiative of Turkmenistan make a significant contribution to ensuring peace and sustainable development.

On the eve of the glorious holiday, numerous festive events are planned, including conferring state awards on compatriots who made worthy contributions to the Motherland, as well as holding an Akhal-Teke horse contest in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty in Ashgabat will serve as another triumph of democracy and unity.
