On August 19, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met with T. Ishigaki, the newly appointed Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for Central Asia and Caucasus countries, as reported by the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed deepening bilateral cooperation and organizing high-level visits. They highlighted the positive momentum in friendly relations and underscored the importance of the Esteemed President's visit to Japan in 2025. The diplomats held a comprehensive exchange of views on future avenues of interaction across political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. Particular emphasis was placed on high-level preparation and organization for the upcoming meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation, scheduled to take place in Tokyo this December.
