A meeting took place at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus with the participation of Turkmen and international students from Euphrosyne Polotskaya Polotsk State University.

The event was organized as part of the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, and was aimed at highlighting priority areas of state policy as well as developing international cooperation in the field of education.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus Nazargulы Shagulyev spoke at the meeting. In his address, the diplomat particularly noted the country's achievements over the years of independence, the strengthening of its position on the international stage, as well as the reforms and initiatives of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the field of science and education.

In addition, participants were given detailed information about the upcoming regular session of the Halk Maslahaty, which will be held in Ashgabat under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. It was emphasized that this event holds great significance for determining the key objectives of the country's socio-economic development.
