A delegation from Turkmenistan, which includes representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country's leading mass media outlets, is taking part in the international media forum "Islamic Civilization: New Perspective, New Discoveries." The large-scale event is taking place from August 24 to 29 in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Participants in the media forum, dedicated to pressing issues of the industry, include journalists, international experts, and media industry specialists from dozens of countries.

Speakers at the plenary session discussed in detail issues related to contemporary documentary films. Drawing on scientifically grounded materials, participants shared their experience and identified key directions for creating high-quality historical and documentary content.

The plenary session also addressed issues of the scholarly study of historical data, tasks in publishing, and opportunities for introducing modern digital technologies. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects of international significance in the media sphere.

As the speakers emphasized, modern technologies play a key role in the work of media organizations. It should be noted that great importance is attached to work in this direction in Turkmenistan as well. At present, thanks to the tireless efforts of Hero-Arkadag and the consistent steps being taken under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the sectors of the national economy, including in the sphere of education and mass media, digital solutions are being actively introduced. As was noted, the exchange of experience in this field is one of the main conditions for the development of the entire industry.

Following the conclusion of the plenary session, participants discussed directions for implementing joint projects in the media sphere.

The forum's program also includes creative meetings and master classes for students studying journalism in Uzbekistan.

On August 27, the international media forum "Islamic Civilization: New Perspective, New Discoveries" will continue its work in Samarkand. According to the program, participants will tour a complex of historical and cultural heritage monuments of the city.

The final session of the international media forum and its official closing ceremony are scheduled for August 28.

Representatives of Turkmenistan actively take part in international events held in various countries. This is clear confirmation that great importance is attached at the state level to the development of international and inter-regional ties, alongside other areas, in the fields of science, education, culture, and mass media.

The agreements reached during summit-level meetings and negotiations, and their practical implementation, open up broad opportunities for the development of interstate relations.
