On August 26, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Aymrad Gochmyradov met with Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khairiddin Usmonzoda.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing Turkmen-Tajik cooperation in the scientific and analytical sphere.

Special attention was paid to preparing a joint scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and Turkmen-Tajik strategic cooperation.

It was noted that this year the Center for Strategic Research hosted two expert meetings in the "Central Asia +" format, which were attended by representative delegations from Turkmenistan.

The sides expressed mutual interest in further developing expert contacts and mutually beneficial cooperation.
