On September 3, a Gratitude Conference dedicated to the historical significance of the general lesson delivered by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the "Ruhyet" Palace in the city of Arkadag, was held at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The participants of the forum proudly emphasized that the speech of Hero-Arkadag at the general lesson, held on September 2, 2026, on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, as well as the beginning of the new 2026–2027 academic year, evoked an emotional and elevated spiritual upsurge throughout society.

The speakers paid special attention to the pedagogical mastery of Hero-Arkadag – professor, academician, honorary doctor and honorary academician of leading world universities. It was noted that, as described in the novels "Älem içre at gezer" and "Döwlet guşy," the grandfather of Hero-Arkadag, Berdimuhamet Annayev, was a valiant warrior, a respected man and an experienced teacher who laid an exemplary path in the education and upbringing of youth. Continuing and developing this noble legacy, Hero-Arkadag created an exemplary school for both education workers and the entire pedagogical community.

The participants of the conference – political scientists, teachers, students and schoolchildren – unanimously emphasized that the general lesson held was filled with profound scientific views, imbued with patriotism, ideas of sacred independence, peacefulness and the great historical heritage of the Turkmen people.

It was particularly emphasized that the life path of Berdimuhamed Annayev – the great-grandfather of the President of the country, the school of life of the grandfather – Malikguly Berdimuhamedov, the high mastery and nobility of the grandmother – Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova, as well as the family traditions of the mother – Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova, are an invaluable asset of the entire nation. The participants noted that the principles of patriotism and humanism, put into practice by Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero-Serdar, serve as a school of upbringing for the younger generation, inextricably linking the past, present and future.

In conclusion, the participants adopted an Address to the President of Turkmenistan, as well as to Hero-Arkadag, expressing wishes for further success in improving the national education system.
