On September 4, an open lesson organized by the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) was held at the Makhtumkuli Fragi secondary school in the village of Funtovo, Privolzhsky District, Astrakhan Region.

The event was aimed at broadly promoting Turkmenistan's peace-loving foreign policy, as well as explaining the socio-political significance of the upcoming session of the Khalk Maslahaty.

Teachers and students of the school, activists of the Astrakhan branch of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens, as well as diplomats of the Consulate took part in the open lesson.

At the conclusion of the event, the guests visited the school museum, where they familiarized themselves with the rich historical and cultural heritage and national traditions of the Turkmen people.
