Meeting of Hero-Arkadag with the Executive Director of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag met with the Executive Director of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, Michael Harms.

Noting that he was glad to see the Hero-Arkadag on German soil, Michael Harms expressed gratitude for the time given for the meeting and emphasized that Germany attaches great importance to developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan. Taking the opportunity, the Executive Director of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations also conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the Hero-Arkadag from the Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

As emphasized by the Executive Director of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, the world-renowned "heavenly" horses are a wonderful example of the national heritage of the Turkmen people. Vivid confirmation of this is the world equestrian championship and the Akhal-Teke horse beauty contest held in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. In this regard, Michael Harms expressed sincere gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag for the invitation to take part in this significant event.

Michael Harms also specifically noted that he regularly reads the remarkable works of the Hero-Arkadag, imbued with deep reverence for the "heavenly" horses. On the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, large-scale work is being carried out to popularize the "winged" horses around the world and preserve this heritage for future generations.

Expressing gratitude for the kind words and hospitality shown, the Hero-Arkadag conveyed his best wishes to the leadership of Germany and noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany is developing fruitfully in various directions.

The Hero-Arkadag also emphasized that the trade and economic sphere is one of the most important vectors of bilateral partnership. At the same time, a key place is given to close cooperation in the field of medicine, agriculture and other areas. A number of major German companies have been successfully operating in the Turkmen market for many years.

Speaking about Turkmen-German cooperation in the field of medicine, the Hero-Arkadag noted that the medical facilities, the opening of which is planned for this year and timed to coincide with the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan, are equipped with advanced technologies and equipment from Germany.

As noted, in order to use the capabilities of artificial intelligence in these modern medical centers, fruitful ties have been established with German specialists.

In this regard, taking the opportunity, the Hero-Arkadag invited Michael Harms to take part in the festive celebrations that will be held in our country on the occasion of the glorious 35th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan and the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers.

The Executive Director of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations expressed sincere gratitude for the invitation and confirmed the readiness of the FRG to develop cooperation with Turkmenistan. In this context, Michael Harms emphasized the significance of the medical cluster being built in the city of Arkadag, and confirmed the German side's interest in developing partnership and exchanging experience in this direction.
