Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory letter to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers’ Day. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

In his congratulatory message, Hero-Arkadag noted that health is the foundation of a happy life and development, emphasizing that in independent Turkmenistan a person is defined as the highest value of society and the state.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people highlighted the importance of the large-scale work carried out under the leadership of Honourable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to modernize the national healthcare system, build modern medical facilities, protect public health and improve the quality of medical services.

The message notes that within the framework of the State Programme “Saglyk”, modern healthcare centres, hospitals, sanatoriums and medical industry enterprises are being commissioned, while innovative technologies, digital systems and advanced equipment are being introduced into the healthcare sector.

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of efforts aimed at improving the professional qualifications of doctors, developing international cooperation and expanding interaction with the World Health Organization, UN structures and leading medical centres around the world.

At the end of his congratulatory message, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated Honourable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and wished him strong health, longevity and great success in his state activities.
