On October 21, the 31st International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan — OGT 2026" opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. At the opening ceremony, a welcoming message from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to the participants of the event was read aloud.

The organizers of the exhibition are the State Concerns "Turkmengas" and "Turkmennebit" (Turkmenpetroleum), the State Corporation "Turkmengeology," with Turkmen Energy Forum serving as the co-organizer. All three organizers presented their own pavilions at the exhibition. The stands of the State Concerns showcase the achievements of the oil and gas industry over the years of Independence. The Yagshygeldy Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas also presented its own stand.

International companies from China, Malaysia, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Italy, Japan, India, and other countries are participating in the exhibition, along with about 20 private companies from Turkmenistan.

The exhibition is open until October 23. In the afternoon of October 21, the international conference will begin its work. According to the organizers, delegates from more than 70 countries are participating in the international conference.
