On the 3rd of November the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of Toyo Engineering Corporation Eiji Hosoi.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guest noted that Japan attaches particular importance to the development of relations with Turkmenistan. As was emphasised, it is a great honour for Toyo Engineering to work in Turkmenistan.

Welcoming the businessman and noting that during the current visit to Turkmenistan the head of the Japanese company will take part in the international exhibition and conference «Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan» (CIET 2026), the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished him great success in his ongoing activities and new undertakings aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, it was emphasised that relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, based on the principles of mutual respect and support, are long-term and strategic in nature.

Noting the significant contribution of Japanese partners to the realisation of the mutual economic potential, the head of state stated that over many years the leading companies of the friendly country have carried out projects in the gas sector and chemical industry of Turkmenistan. Fruitful cooperation has been established in the oil and gas and chemical spheres with Toyo Engineering Corporation, with whose participation a large gas chemical complex, a polymer plant, was built and commissioned in Gyýanly.

Placing emphasis on the fact that an important condition for the implementation of projects in Turkmenistan is the application of advanced experience and innovative technologies, and compliance with high quality standards and environmental requirements, Arkadagly Hero-Serdar also noted the existence of broad opportunities for the further development of bilateral cooperation.

Once again expressing gratitude for the creation of favourable conditions for productive activity on the Turkmen market, the businessman assured that the company he heads will continue to approach the fulfilment of its contractual obligations responsibly.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of Toyo Engineering Corporation, Eiji Hosoi, exchanged best wishes.
