President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working conference on the digital system on March 28. It was participated by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and also the hyakims of the city of Ashgabat and the velayats. In the conference continuation, the tasks of the socio-economic development of the capital and regions, and seasonal agricultural work were discussed. The hyakims reported on the ongoing work within the framework of the implementation of the National Rural Program and the Program for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025.
In the report of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, in charge of the agro-industrial complex, states that cotton is being sown on 19 thousand 561 hectares to date. Also, the crops of early potatoes on 30 thousand hectares and onions on 10 thousand hectares are taken care of. At the same time continues the sowing of other vegetable and gourd crops. It is planned to plant 3 million seedlings of ornamental, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes, and also to receive 2 thousand 300 tons of mulberry cocoons.
After listening to the reports, the President of Turkmenistan gave specific instructions and stressed, that everything should be done to solve successfully the set tasks.
