The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the Government of Malaysia on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations

On May 17 esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the Prime Minister of Malaysia Ismail Sabri Yacob and the XVI Supreme Head of Malaysia Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’yatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

The head of state in his congratulations stated that “Turkmenistan aims to further develop political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with Malaysia”, noting that over 30 years, based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, relations between states have developed dynamically and improved systematically.

Along with this, the esteemed President expressed confidence that, thanks to joint efforts, the Turkmen-Malaysian cooperation would continue to develop for the benefit of our peoples.

Taking this pleasant opportunity, the esteemed President of Turkmenistan expressed to the Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and the XVI Supreme Head Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’yatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah sincere wishes of good health, happiness and prosperity, and to the people of Malaysia – progress and prosperity.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Malaysia were established on May 17, 1992.
