Turkmenistan and Starlink discuss cooperation in the field of digital technologies
A delegation from Turkmenistan, headed by Minister of Finance and Economy Mammetguly Astanagulov, participated on February 4–5, 2026, in the second B5+1 Business Forum held in Bishkek.
On the sidelines of the forum, a bilateral meeting took place between the Turkmen delegates and Rebecca Hunter, Director of Global Licensing and Market Development at Starlink, SpaceX.
During the talks, prospects for cooperation in digital technologies, telecommunications, and the implementation of modern satellite communication solutions were discussed. Mutual interest in further developing long-term mutually beneficial cooperation was confirmed.
