President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital system, at which the results of work carried out in the country for January of the current year were reviewed. The Deputy Prime Ministers reported on the outcomes of activities conducted by the structures under their supervision during this period.
After hearing the reports, the Head of State noted that the results of the work carried out in January clearly demonstrate the significant achievements of the country. Transformations in the sectors of the economy are successfully continuing, production sectors are being consistently improved, and large volumes of investment are being directed to the construction of modern enterprises and the modernization of existing ones, the President said.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted with satisfaction that the GDP growth rate during the period under review reached 6.3 percent. As emphasized, effective work is being carried out in the oil and gas, trade, and transport and communications complexes, and reforms in the spheres of education, science, healthcare, sports, and culture are successfully continuing.
In conclusion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that significant work remains to be done to further develop the country, organize planned activities, and address ongoing tasks.
In this context, the Head of State noted that next week an expanded Government meeting will be held, at which the results of work carried out in 2025 will be reviewed, the implementation of adopted programs and previously issued instructions will be examined, and a number of other issues will be considered.
