Promising areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and China discussed
On March 4, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China Parahat Durdyyev met with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Mr. Liu Bin. During the meeting, an extensive exchange of views took place regarding the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China. The parties particularly emphasized the importance of the consistent development of successfully established cooperation in all areas, as well as the significance of the close dialogue maintained between the leaders of the two countries. During the meeting, it was specifically noted that Turkmen-Chinese relations are based on long-standing ties of friendship and brotherhood, common spiritual and cultural values, and the principles of peace, mutual respect, and humanism. In this regard, the existence of broad opportunities for further strengthening cooperation in political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian fields was highlighted. The interlocutors also noted that continuing coordinated and mutually supportive relations within the framework of international organizations fully aligns with the common interests of both countries. Noting the strategic nature of the relations between the two states, the parties confirmed their comprehensive interest in their further development.
