An event in honor of the 2026 motto and the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was held in Tajikistan

A solemn event dedicated to the 2026 motto “Independent neutral Turkmenistan — the homeland of purposeful winged horses” as well as the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, was held on February 13 at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The speeches emphasized that the art of Akhal-Teke horse breeding and traditions of horse decoration, which are among the outstanding directions of Turkmen art, are included in UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

In addition, participants were presented with information about events planned to be held during 2026 in honor of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence.

As part of the event, a photo exhibition and book display were organized in the Embassy building. Guests were presented with works of decorative and applied arts reflecting the beauty of Akhal-Teke racehorses, artistic photographs, books by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as a thematic exhibition dedicated to the country's achievements during the years of Independence.
