On February 17, 2026, an event was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania dedicated to the 2026 motto — “Independent neutral Turkmenistan — the homeland of purposeful winged horses”— as well as to Turkmenistan’s Diplomatic Workers’ Day.
Speakers also emphasized that Turkmenistan’s foreign policy is consistently based on the principles of permanent neutrality, constructive international engagement, and the strengthening of trust at both regional and global levels. In this context, the significance of Turkmen diplomacy in promoting initiatives aimed at ensuring peace, stability, and sustainable development was highlighted.
The event also provided an additional opportunity to familiarize participants with the priorities of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy in the context of the 2026 symbolism and the professional holiday of diplomatic workers.
