Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Mammedov reported on the country's ongoing efforts to develop scientific and medical diplomacy.
As reported, the country is implementing positive experiences accumulated in areas such as human health protection, the construction of research and clinical centers, hospitals, sanatoriums, and pharmaceutical facilities that meet WHO international standards, the development of medical science, and the strengthening of international cooperation. All of this contributes to the further improvement of public health, the development of global scientific and medical diplomacy based on best practices in this area, and the enhancement of the country's international standing. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the President's consideration.
Emphasizing that our country is taking effective and comprehensive measures to develop medical science and enhance international cooperation in this area, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to conduct the corresponding work on the National Strategy for the Development of Scientific and Medical Diplomacy in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052.
