Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova reported at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on the schedule of major events planned for March of the current year.
As reported, various events and celebrations are planned for the upcoming month in connection with the 2026 national motto, International Women’s Day, and the National Spring Festival. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, monetary gifts will be presented on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to women across the country, and festive events and concerts are planned in the provinces as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.
In March of this year, song and music celebrations dedicated to the National Spring Festival will be held in front of the “Türkmeniň Ak Öýi” building in the provinces, at the “Nowruz Yailasy” site in the Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat, and at the festive square in the city of Arkadag. In addition, the Dashoguz province will host the festival “Dünýäde ýaňlanýar ajap dessanym, toý tutýar Garaşsyz Türkmenistanym” with the participation of traditional bakhshi-destanchi performers.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of wide coverage of the events planned for March in connection with the country’s celebrations. The Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure proper preparation for the festivities organized in honor of International Women’s Day and the National Spring Festival.
