On International Women's Day, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, built in accordance with modern requirements and high international standards, where he addressed the beloved mothers, women, and girls at the headquarters of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Noting that International Women's Day, a holiday honoring our beloved mothers, women, and girls, is widely celebrated in our country in the first days of spring, Hero Arkadag emphasized that in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, the dignity of Turkmen women, distinguished by their high spirit, moral purity, and skill, is highly revered. The country creates all the conditions for women to work in various fields, and their work is highly valued.
Having warmly congratulated our wonderful mothers and grandmothers, happy women and girls, dear sisters and girls on this wonderful spring holiday – International Women's Day – Hero-Arkadag emphasized that, by cultivating the national traditions of our ancestors, such as the veneration of women and the high respect for their dignity, these noble principles have been elevated to the rank of sacredness in our country.
The state is particularly committed to providing comprehensive support to large families and improving their living conditions. As Hero-Arkadag noted, every year on the occasion of International Women's Day, we hold ceremonies honoring mothers of large families, who have been awarded the honorary title of "Ene mähri" of Turkmenistan. A large group of large families receives the keys to new apartments in luxury buildings.
Noting that presenting cash gifts to women on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan has become a noble tradition, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that our dear women are the beautiful flowers of the Motherland and the stars that illuminate our homes with happiness. The country will continue to create all the necessary conditions for the prosperous life and creative work of women, said Hero-Arkadag.
