Within the framework of Turkmenistan’s chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States, a coordination meeting of the jury of the Interstate TV contest on films of the CIS state-participants "Flight of a racehorse: power and grace" was held. The large-scale creative project, initiated by the Turkmen side, is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the formation of the CIS.
The main goal of the film marathon is to develop humanitarian cooperation and promote the national cinema of the participating countries. Submissions opened in February, and the culmination of the project will be the award ceremony for the winners, scheduled for October 2026 in the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone.
During the recent online meeting, jury members agreed on selection criteria and technical aspects of interaction. The organizers expressed confidence that, thanks to the high authority of the experts, the "Flight of a racehorse: power and grace" contest will become a respected platform for exchanging experience among film professionals.
