On March 17, a large-scale exhibition opened in Ashgabat, timed to coincide with the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The exhibition clearly demonstrates the rapid development of national entrepreneurship in the country.
During the opening ceremony, a welcome address from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was read to the participants of the exhibition and the International Forum “Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan.” In his message, the head of state emphasized that the development of the country’s private sector is one of the priorities of the national economy.
Following the address, participants explored the extensive exhibition showcasing the achievements of the private sector.
A special place in the exhibition is occupied by stands highlighting accomplishments in the production of import-substituting goods and strengthening the country’s export potential.
In the pavilion dedicated to the construction industry, the enterprises “Derýaplastik” and “Ak Bulut” presented innovative developments actively used in the implementation of urban development programs. In the pavilions dedicated to trade and household services, supermarkets operating in accordance with international standards are displayed.
The exhibition will conclude on March 19. Upon completion, participants will be awarded the corresponding diplomas.
