On March 20, Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, reported at a government meeting on measures being implemented to stimulate Turkmenistan’s foreign economic activity and strengthen cooperation with international economic organizations and financial institutions.
As reported, as a result of work in this direction, draft documents have been prepared, including the State Program for the Development of Turkmenistan’s Foreign Economic Activity for 2026–2030, the Action Plan for Developing Turkmenistan’s Cooperation with International Economic Organizations for 2026–2028, and the Roadmap for Joint Activities of Turkmenistan with International Financial Institutions for 2026–2028.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that effective work is being carried out in the country to expand foreign economic partnerships and, having approved the documents aimed at further development, instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the corresponding measures.
