Celebrations were held in Dashoguz Velayat to honor the international victories of the "Galkynysh" national equestrian games group. Specifically, these events were organized on the occasion of the "Galkynysh" group being awarded international certificates from the World Circus Federation and the European Circus Association for their great contribution to circus art during the 48th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, held this January in the Principality of Monaco.
The festive events in the city of Dashoguz kicked off at Gerogly Square. Staged performances by actors from the Nurmuhammet Andalib State Music and Drama Theater of the velayat were presented here. Members of the "Galkynysh" national equestrian games group visited the Historical and Local Lore Museum of the velayat, where they explored national values representing various historical periods.
The equestrian procession of the world-famous group, which passed along a series of majestic buildings in Dashoguz, was filled with a festive atmosphere. The "Türkmeniň ak öýi" building became the venue for large-scale celebrations. During the speeches, it was noted that Akhal-Teke horses are the national pride of our people and a symbol of courage, beauty, and loyalty.
Subsequently, the "Galkynysh" national equestrian games group performed on the wide stage of the "Türkmeniň ak öýi" building. The beauty and agility of the magnificent horses, along with the skill of the riders performing various complex acrobatic elements on galloping horses, left an unforgettable impression on the audience.
Following the conclusion of the solemn events, a charity dinner—an agzachar sadaka—was held in the banquet hall adjacent to the "Türkmeniň ak öýi."
