Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Ahal velayat, where he took part in the opening ceremony of a new textile complex on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Motherland.
The head of state cut the symbolic green ribbon at the entrance to the building of the enterprise and got acquainted with the production process based on the latest technologies.
The modern complex, built with the participation of the British company Cotam Enterprises Ltd., is located on a vast territory of 18 hectares and combines a spinning, dyeing, weaving and garment factories. Every year 3,650 tons of cotton yarn will be processed here and 12 million square meters of various types of fabric will be produced, from which 1,200,000 units of finished products will be sewn at local enterprises - shirts, bedding and other products.
The complex is equipped with equipment from well-known world manufacturers - the Belgian company Picanol, Swiss Rieter, Benninger, German Trützschler, Schlafhorst, Zinser, Monforst, Küsters, Italian Marzoli, Mario Crosta, Reggiani, Arioli, Savio and Japanese Tsudakoma, Juki, Muratec.
Products of the industry enterprises are marked with certificates ISO 9001 "Production management and quality control system", ISO 14001 "Environmental protection", OHSAS 18001 "Labor protection and industrial safety".
All conditions have been created for the personnel working here, which is almost 1,300 people - a canteen for 450 seats, a sports ground, 2 hotels for 16 seats.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the structure of the Kaakhki enterprise, having traveled around it in an electric car and talked with specialists and personnel, having visited different production sites.
Then a show of clothes produced by enterprises of the domestic textile complex was arranged for the head of state.
At the end of the show, the President of Turkmenistan heard speeches from representatives of a company for the production of advanced textile machinery from Germany and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), who joined the participants in the celebration on a digital system.
In their speeches, they noted that over the years of sovereignty, Turkmenistan has achieved "colossal successes in the development of the economy." Numerous textile complexes equipped with modern high-tech equipment have been built in the country.
Then the head of state examined the exposition deployed here, which presents a rich assortment of finished products of the new textile complex. These are children's, men's and women's clothing made from environmentally friendly yarns.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left a memorable entry in the Book of Honorary Guests, and also donated 10 new buses, a car and 2 trucks to the company.
