The President of Turkmenistan held an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on digital communications. In its course, the results of the work of the branches of the national economic complex of the country were summed up, reports for nine months of this year were heard and priority directions for the near future were determined. Within the framework of the meeting, Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M. Chakyev reported on the results of the activities of subordinate institutions for nine months of this year.
The plan for the reporting period for the provision of services and production of products for this complex was fulfilled by 111.2%.
The growth rate for January-September for the “Turkmendemiryollary” agency amounted to 106.3%, for the “Turkmenawtoulaglary” agency - 137.1%, for the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” agency - 139.2%, and for “Turkmenaragatnaşyk” - 111%. The corresponding work was carried out by the “Turkmenhowayollary” agency.
Summarizing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that digitalization has been identified as one of the key vectors of state policy. At the same time, the main task is to create an effective management system capable of meeting the needs of the economy and modern society.
