On March 17, an exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs opened at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The exhibition presents the achievements of the private sector, which makes a significant contribution to the development of all sectors of the country. The exhibition also features accomplishments in the transport and logistics sector. Companies such as “Hazar Logistik” and “Ulagly” play an important role in the creation of cross-border transport corridors. Exploring the capabilities of private freight carriers highlights Turkmenistan’s strategic significance as a key transnational transport hub on the Great Silk Road. It should be noted that this year, the high-speed Ashgabat–Turkmenabat section of the Mary–Turkmenabat route will be put into operation. Turkmen entrepreneurs have made a significant contribution to the construction of this modern route. As part of the exhibition, the International Forum “Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan” will also take place today. The forum will serve as an important platform for discussing investment opportunities in the country’s private sector and for sharing experience. The exhibition will conclude on March 19.
