Turkmenistan participates in the World Border Security Congress in Vienna

A delegation headed by the Deputy Head of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan is taking part in the World Border Security Congress, which began on April 14 in Vienna. This was reported by the press service of the Migration Service of Turkmenistan.

During the forum, emphasis was placed on ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation in border security, improve border management within the framework of a regional project, and widely introduce high-tech innovative methods into the border control system.

The Turkmen delegation also held a meeting with Susanne Raab, Director General of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).

The parties discussed priority areas of cooperation, including integrated border management, digitalization of migration systems, and the development of migration policy.
