A briefing was held in Ashgabat dedicated to the upcoming Fourth High-Level International Conference within the framework of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028.” The forum will take place from May 25 to 28, 2026, in Dushanbe as part of the Dushanbe Water Process. This was reported by online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

During the meeting, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan, Niyatbekzoda Vafo Alibek, informed representatives of diplomatic missions and the media about the conditions and format of participation in the forthcoming forum, inviting all parties to active cooperation.

The main mission of the Fourth Dushanbe Conference is to create a global platform for intensifying collective efforts. Participants will focus on implementing the commitments outlined in the UN Water Action Agenda and on identifying innovative solutions to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
