On April 29, 2026, a cycling event was held in Beijing with the participation of diplomats from Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People’s Republic of China, as well as Turkmen and Chinese youth. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was held under the motto «Friendship Between Turkmenistan and China, Low-Carbon Health and Youthful Spirit».

The start and finish point of the cycling race was set at the symbolic location of National Pavilion of Turkmenistan. Participants, consisting of representatives of youth organizations, followed a specially designed route passing through key streets of the «Dongjimen» district.

The organizers expressed confidence that such initiatives would contribute to further enriching bilateral relations and fostering new traditions within cultural and sports exchanges between Turkmenistan and China.
