Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annayev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gismet Gozalov. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the current situation and prospects for cooperation in transport, transit, logistics, digital development, and telecommunications were discussed. It was noted that the favorable geographical location of the two countries and the growing transit potential of the region open important opportunities for expanding transport corridors.

Within the framework of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, new areas of cooperation in digital development, improvement of telecommunications infrastructure, and strengthening transport and logistics ties were also considered. The sides expressed mutual interest in further developing strategic partnership between the two countries.
