A seminar was held in Ashgabat for specialists of the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ashgabat Stock Exchange. The event was organized within the framework of a joint project of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan aimed at supporting the development of the country’s financial market. This was reported on the UNDP Turkmenistan website.

During the seminar, UNDP experts presented key aspects of the functioning of the securities market, including international practices in protecting the rights of investors and companies issuing securities, international practices of investment activities in the securities market, as well as the role of international standards in its development.

The event served as a platform for open discussions, during which various aspects of the activities of the Ashgabat Stock Exchange were also considered.
