Department of Peace and Neutrality to be opened at Institute of International Relations of MFA of Turkmenistan

A Department of Peace and Neutrality will be established at an Institute of International Relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The corresponding Resolution was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who also approved the structure of the Institute. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

According to the document, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is instructed to:

– jointly with the Ministry of Education, within one month, prepare in accordance with international standards the master’s degree curricula in the field of «Peace and Neutrality» at the Institute of International Relations, starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, and submit them for approval to the relevant Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers;

– jointly with the Ministry of Adalat, within one month, prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals on introducing amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution.
