A Deputy Chairman of a Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova reported on May 22 at a government meeting on the schedule of major events planned for June 2026. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

According to the report, the upcoming month will feature various celebrations, musical, cultural events, exhibitions, sports competitions and contests marking the motto of the current year, the 35th anniversary of the country's independence, International Children's Day, World Bicycle Day, World Nature Conservation Day, Science Day, Day of Culture and Arts Workers, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.

The capital will also host the Days of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan, a number of international conferences, olympiads and exhibitions. In Balkan velayat, a Culture Week is planned alongside musical events dedicated to the Day of Culture and Arts Workers and the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.

Having heard the report, a President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the upcoming events and ensure they are held at a high level.
