On May 24, the XXV Multidisciplinary International Exhibition and Conference "My White City Ashgabat," jointly organized by the Ashgabat City Chancellery and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, solemnly opened in the capital. As a result of the successful implementation under the leadership of our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedow of the urban planning policy initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, the prestige of our white-marble capital in the international arena is rising to ever greater heights. The entry of several modern buildings and facilities meeting international standards into the Guinness World Records proves the global recognition of Ashgabat's beauty.
According to noble tradition, the event commenced at the festive square in front of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with vibrant song, music, and dance performances by masters of the arts. The opening of the forum was attended by members of the Government, heads of ministries and line departments, diplomats, domestic and foreign businessmen, as well as representatives of the mass media. At the beginning of the ceremony, the gathered audience listened with great pride and attention to the festive Congratulatory Message sent by our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedow to the participants of the international exhibition and conference.
This exhibition, which has been regularly organized for 25 years within the framework of the event, is one of the primary international platforms for presenting innovative urban development projects, socio-economic achievements, and cultural-scientific successes. This year, the alignment of this international forum with the celebrations of the glorious 35th anniversary of our country's sacred Independence and the year of "Turkmenistan — the Land of Prosperity" further enhances its historical significance.
