Short-term courses on the topic “Green Economy and Sustainable Regional Development” were held at the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan. The event is being conducted within the framework of the cooperation agreement with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. This was reported by the press service of the Academy.

The short-term advanced training program is aimed at meeting the educational needs of civil servants in the field of public administration systems and sustainable development. Students and faculty members of the Academy are taking part in the courses.

The course program includes lectures on strategic planning, global trends and strategic priorities for sustainable territorial development, integration of sustainable development principles and green economy into management processes, as well as case studies on evaluating the effectiveness of green projects and regional state programs.

Representatives of the Turkmen Academy noted that such international educational projects are of crucial importance for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the improvement of the civil service training system in the context of digitalization.
