At a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting held via digital system on June 12, a Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov reported on the activities of the State concerns «Türkmennebit» and «Türkmengaz».

According to the report, in the Epoch of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, appropriate measures are being taken to increase natural gas production volumes, ensure reliable supply to consumers, deepen the development of oil and gas fields, and expand the scope of operations. Special emphasis is placed on effective cooperation with leading Chinese companies.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the consideration of the Head of State.

Having heard the report, a President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that targeted work is underway to develop and modernize the domestic oil and gas sector. After signing the documents prepared to ensure the successful fulfilment of the tasks set for the sector, the Head of State issued a number of instructions to the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
