On June 25, 2026, a solemn ceremony was held at the building of the Parliament of Japan in Tokyo to present the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna" and a commemorative silver coin to former Chairman of the Japan-Turkmenistan Parliamentary Friendship League Toshiaki Endo. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Welcome speeches at the ceremony were delivered by Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Eri Arfia, and new Chairman of the Japan-Turkmenistan Parliamentary Friendship League Shinpei Matsushita. In their speeches, they noted the high level of Turkmen-Japanese relations and the significant contribution of Toshiaki Endo to the development of interstate and inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan then presented Toshiaki Endo, on behalf of the Government of Turkmenistan, with the jubilee medal "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna", a commemorative silver coin and the corresponding certificate.

Following the award ceremony, Toshiaki Endo delivered a response speech, expressing sincere gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the high appreciation of his activities and confirmed his intention to continue promoting the development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.
