On July 3, at a regular meeting of the Government held via a digital system under the leadership of honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seýidowa reported on the measures being implemented to study the national cultural heritage, restore historical and cultural monuments, and promote them among the youth. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
As the Vice-Prime Minister reported, in accordance with the relevant program, the next phase of scientific research and restoration work was carried out at the country's historical and cultural monuments during this year's spring season. Currently, by utilizing modern technologies, relevant work is underway in cooperation with foreign experts to create a digital database of Turkmenistan's historical monuments. With the aim of promoting historical heritage among young people, special scientific and methodological seminars were organized within the framework of the Culture Week held in Balkan province and at the "Ancient Dehistan" State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
After listening to the report, honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that special attention is paid to preserving, restoring, and promoting the rich cultural heritage in Turkmenistan. The Head of State instructed the Vice-Prime Minister to consistently continue the work on studying historical and cultural monuments and broadly explaining cultural values to the younger generation.
