Ambassador of Turkmenistan meets with the head of the Equestrian Federation of Kazakhstan

A meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Batyr Rejepov, and the President of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rustam Bayaliyev, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan. During the diplomatic meeting, issues related to further promoting the global renown of akhal-teke horses were reviewed. This was reported by the embassy's press service.

The Ambassador presented Rustam Bayaliyev with an invitation to attend as an honored guest the World Championship of Equestrian Sports and Beauty Contest among akhal-teke horses, which will take place on September 4–6, 2026, in Kronenberg, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on developing equestrian sports between the two nations, preserving noble national horse-breeding traditions, and promoting them within the international arena. Additionally, the future of jointly organized cultural events and new avenues of cooperation were discussed.

The interlocutors drew special attention to the unique characteristics of akhal-teke horses, which stand as a national pride of the Turkmen people and a treasure of world culture. It was noted that equestrian sports and the art of horse breeding serve as a bridge to further strengthen historical, cultural, and humanitarian relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Following the meeting, the parties agreed on regular experience sharing and elevating the interaction between the relevant organizations of both states to a new level.
