In the capital of Georgia, a mobile exhibition showcasing the achievements of the national economy of Turkmenistan has opened within the framework of the state visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The large-scale exposition, set up at the «Expo Georgia» exhibition center, is designed to demonstrate the country's export potential and economic capabilities to the friendly nation. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze. The leaders of the two countries jointly toured the pavilions, where leading state ministries and departments presented their achievements and high-quality products. Among them were the ministries of textile industry, energy, industry and construction production, construction and architecture, healthcare, and culture of Turkmenistan.
Special attention at the showcase was paid to the private sector. Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan presented an active exposition of construction, metal, plastic, and cable products, as well as ecologically clean food products. The successful exhibition in Tbilisi confirmed the readiness of Turkmen businesses to enter Georgian and European markets, serving as an open platform for establishing direct business contacts and creating joint ventures.
